Chamonix glacier trekking
Two very easy itineraries to discover the magnificent Mont Blanc range. Every day you will walk on glacier and appreciate the fantastic landscapes of blue glaciers and red granite peaks. All nights in mountain huts. Around the “Mer de Glace” : 3 days around the famous glacier and his blue ice. Great panoramas on the Mer de Glace, Vallée Blanche and Mont Blanc. Glacier and Aiguille du Tour : 3 days on the Tour and Trient glaciers, on the Swiss border. The last day easy ascent of the Aiguille du Tour. Superb views on the swiss Alps up to Monte Rosa and Matterhorn. Chamonix to Zermatt by the glaciers The famous “Haute Route” in summer, during 7 days you will cross from Mont Blanc to Mattherhorn by high passes and on the bigest glaciers in the Alps. Every day you will discover beautiful panoramas over the entire Alpine range. A great challenge and a perfect course to begin the crampons and ice axe practice. Your first “4000” : the Grand Paradiso The ascent of Grand Paradiso (4061m) is easy and is a good intro to alpine climbing for beginners. The national parc of Grand Paradiso is very wild and you will appreciate magnificent panoramas and the rich fauna and flora of this area. 3 days course. |
Monte Rosa range In the Monte Rosa range there are numerous of “4000” peaks, most of them offers easy routes. The landscapes are magnificent on the bigest glaciers of the Alps and there are many possibilities of different itineraries. You can climb up to 15 peaks more than 4000m in 6 days ! We offers you three courses for discovering this range and we are open at all your dreams for more ! Pyramide Vincent and Punta Martharita (4556m) : a 3 day course for the ascent of the secont highest peak of the range. Good intro for beginners. Monterosa tour beginners : 4 days course with the ascent of 5 to 7 peaks over 4000m. Monterosa tour advanced : 6 days course with 10 peaks over 4000m possible, lets go for training ! Mountaineering courses You are beginners and want to acquire the climbing and sécurity technics to enable you to practice high mountain safely. During 5 days you will learn the basic technics on easy ascents and on glaciers in the Mont Blanc range : basic snow, rock and ice climbing, use of crampons and ice axe, crevasses rescue, belaying and abseiling technics.
